Comment: Tell the Census Bureau to Roll Back Its Proposed Rule
Comment deadline: Nov 02 Mon
Add your voice and ask the Census Bureau to roll back its proposed rule and extend the comment period to Dec 10. The rule would change who gets counted in the census, including counting only citizens and green card holders and ending the collection of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender identity data. The League believes the rule is unconstitutional and would distort the population counts used for representation and public services.

Speak Up: Talk With Your Neighbors About Initiative 645
Initiative 645 asks voters to repeal the state's new 9.9% tax on annual household income over $1 million. A NO vote keeps the tax in place. The League supports a tax system that is fair, adequate, balanced, and based on sound economic principles. A person's ability to pay should be an important consideration. Use the League's flyer, issue paper, and talking points to explain why to friends and neighbors.
